Dental Hygienist (Full and Part-Time Opportunities)
Position Summary:
This position helps to maintain, in conjunction with other clinicians, office hygiene efforts to ensure the delivery of quality & comfort focused dental hygiene and periodontal care to patients.
Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Dental Hygiene degree from accredited program or university
-
Current Radiographic & CPR certification
-
Local anesthesia licensure preferred
-
State licensure in good standing with State Board without disciplinary action
-
Min. of 2 year experience working as a dental hygienist in a dental office
-
Fluency in dental terminology, dental procedures, sterilization & patient flow
-
Fluency in Dentrix Ascend, or Dentrix, preferred
-
Computer literacy, ability to type proficiently and maintain clinical notes
Essential Responsibilities:
-
Maintain accurate hygiene patient notes, records & ledgers
-
Oversee radiograph acquisition as needed and per office protocol
-
Oversee hygiene operatory setup, sterilization, & inventory efforts
-
Oversee hygiene patient re-care, scheduling, & appointment confirmation efforts
-
Help manage assistants as needed to facilitate office hygiene protocols
-
Maintain accurate & up-to-date periodontal records & chartings per office protocol
-
Deliver high quality & comfortable dental hygiene & periodontal care to patients
-
Deliver effective OHI and recommend retail products when appropriate
-
Follow all applicable practice, government, OSHA & HIPAA guidelines & training
-
Assist as needed with other appropriate tasks as directed by senior clinicians
