Since our opening in May of 2019, Dr. Doug and his team at District Dental Spa have strived to offer the residents of New Orleans a superior option when it comes to dental care & spa services. Patient comfort, quality of care, and a harmonious environment are our top priorities at our contemporary location.

In addition to providing quality care to his patients, one of Dr. Doug’s top priorities is to create a positive impact in society and improve lives, one person at a time. Dr. Doug is a proud member of the LGBTQ community and is committed to helping support veterans, members of the BIPOC community, LGBTQ+ and other minority groups that often face disproportionate inequities in care because he knows that healthy communities are essential to everybody’s success.

Organizations we help support include:

Project Lazarus / Halloween New Orleans – Donor
The mission of the Hosts of Halloween New Orleans is to provide funding for Project Lazarus, a home in New Orleans for men and women with AIDS, so that they may provide healthcare and support services for their residents.

Dr. Doug is a proud support of Project Lazarus and has provided donations and silent auction items that help go towards Project Lazarus.

Shuck Cancer New Orleans
– Donor

Shuck Cancer showcases oysters from across the country, wine pairings, spirits, 30 local restaurants providing non-oyster cuisine, live music, and mobile bidding for our silent auction. Since its inception in 2018, Shuck Cancer donors have raised $850,800 for our Louisiana Patient Transportation Grant Program benefiting cancer patients in area health systems, and helping to equalize cancer outcomes in our community. Having cancer is hard. Getting treatment shouldn’t have to be.

In 2020, Dr. Doug was selected to be an honoree for the American Cancer Society's local "Shuck Cancer" fundraising campaign. He was happy to raise over $3000 to benefit cancer patients.

Live Oak Camp – Donor
Live Oak connects high-performing 8–22-year-olds at sleep-away camp in Mississippi, and invest in their success with wilderness trips, leadership training, personal mentorship, and employment opportunities all year long. The organization helps build a diverse community of New Orleans’s future leaders.

Dr. Doug is a firm believer that mentorship is crucial to the success of young adults in the community of New Orleans. That is why he continues to donate and is a proud supporter of Live Oak Camp.
